Electric Handpieces
There are basically two types of handpieces, air-driven and electric.
Electric handpieces are much stronger and quieter than air-driven due to the fact that a motor is spinning the bur as opposed to air. The increased strength translates into greater control and accuracy working in your mouth and the quiet is what patients have been seeking for years.
